The word "ZOO" was almost unfamilar to Westlake Scouts. But 7 years after the last visit, we decided that it was time to drop by the Zoo and check if Ah Meng was still alive!

At about 10 am, we gathered at the school's carpark, waiting eagerly for the bus to arrive. It was not that we are country bumpkins who have never visit the zoo before. But instead, it was the idea of going as a group that sounded so appealing.

We split into groups of 4, and off we went to explore the animal kingdom. Along the way, there were animal shows that never fail to attract visitors. And of course, we were one of them! One particular show that kept me laughing the whole day long was the elephant show. But I will spare you the agony of me going through the entire show that may seems least interesting to you *smile*.

After lunch, when we were about to move out to continue on the journey, it started to rain.... That definately dampen our enthusiasm. But come to think of it, it was not bad an idea to sit at the cafeteria and chat about the monkeys and hippo we met earlier on.

Time flies when you have so much to talk about. And by 2.00pm, we made our way to the KFC at the entrance for some chicken before saying goodbye to the animals of zoo.

Hopefully during the next visit the zoo, we can find an addition to Ah Meng's family ...
